Do you feel frazzled and "beat up" by the rush and busyness of the world?
Are you healing from a loss?
Do you need to make a decision?
Do you need clarity and focus?
Do you feel renewed by being in nature?

The Land of Ease is an 18-acre haven of peacefulness and gentleness. We are living in a speeded-up world. As the demands increase for our attention to daily living, we often feel fragmented...pulled in many different directions with our energy drained. We are much more advanced technologically, more people live in smaller geographical spaces, and information from around the world is available to us in a matter of seconds. As our nervous systems try to “entrain” with the world of 2008, we can become overwhelmed, exhausted, anxious, and ill. We have forgotten how to be in sync with our own deeper self and have lost that feeling of being connected and whole.

Reconnect with yourself. Have breakfast on the wood deck, gazing into the tall forest. Rock in the porch swing next to the peace pole and creek bed. Walk the soft earth trails to the winding creek or nearby labyrinth. Lavish in the warmth of the hot tub under the stars, surrounded by honeysuckle. Watch the flickering flames created by a warm fire at the fire circle. Read from the library rich in resources. Journal on the bench under the trees while watching and listening to the birds.

The amount of time is custom built to serve you and your schedule. Possibilities include: Private coaching sessions with Liza Ely (may be at beginning and end of retreat time.) Private room at the Land of Ease, with use of kitchen facilities.

Pre' Francais Room (translated- French Meadow, in French): $65. per night

This upstairs bedroom reflects the gentleness of a French meadow. The Cherry day bed is comfortable for sitting or sleeping. A trundle bed is can be pulled out with ease to provide sleeping for an extra person. The beds can be placed side-by-side as a king-sized bed or separated for two single beds. The bathroom is shared with the Bella Nonna Room.

Bella Nonna Room (translated- Beautiful Grandmother, in Italian): $65 per night

This upstairs bedroom is in honor of Liza's grandmother. The quilt her grandmother made 50 years ago hangs on the wall. Beside the antique iron bed is the Oak secretary that was bought by Liza's Grandmother's sister. Atop the secretary is a picture of Aunt Annie picking cotton when she was 13 year's old in order to make the money to buy the unique desk. Other family antiques brighten the room, as well as pictures of Liza's granddaughter.
